My thoughts about Crowen
I don’t know what to expect from the season’s finale. My dearest Crowen are at the crossroads and it doesn’t look good. Whole 9th season they were getting back together but now with the whole Ethan situation they’re back to where they have started.
My guess is that when Owen said «I want you», he actually meant it. He thought that he really did. But after his almost come-to-life intentions to adopt Ethan, he may have understood what he was about to give up.
Actually, I don’t understand where they are heading. When Cristina came back and wanted them to get back together it seemed to me that she’s changed her mind about the kids. Maybe at least started to consider it. Otherwise, why did she want to come back to Owen? He at some point told her that nothing has changed and they will just hurt each other more. (That was the exact moment when I thought that she changed her mind, if she still wanted him back.) Apparently, I was wrong.
That’s why her whole storyline this season seems awkward to me. Yes, she has changed a lot. She supports him. He’s her person now. She shows how she cares about other people. But with the whore kids unresolved thing, they still don’t make sense. Shonda, what have you done to my favorite characters?! I love them together, I want them together, but I also want them happy together. I’ve been shipping them for a long time but now I actually start thinking that they will not end together and it upsets me a lot:(
